I've been thinking about belonging lately. About what it means to truly belong somewhere — not conditionally, not provisionally, but fully and without reservation.
Galatians 3:28 answers that question in the most sweeping, generous terms I've ever encountered. "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
Paul was writing into a world where those distinctions mattered enormously. They determined your social standing, your access to power, your worth in the eyes of others. And Paul looked at all of it and said: in Christ, none of that applies. The ground is level at the foot of the cross. Every single person — regardless of background, status, or identity — belongs equally and completely.
I think that's one of the most radical things the gospel ever says. Not just that God loves everyone, but that in Christ, the categories we use to separate ourselves from each other simply stop being definitive. We are one.
I wanted to design something that held that truth in a way you'd want to look at every day. The flowing botanical illustration felt right — leaves that are different in shape and shade, winding around each other, each one distinct but none of them complete without the rest. Unity that doesn't erase difference, but holds it together beautifully.
If your home or your church is a place where everyone is genuinely welcome, I think this print says that quietly and beautifully. And if it's something you're still working towards — honestly, aren't we all — I hope it's an encouragement to keep going.
