There are seasons in life that we'd do anything to speed up. The waiting rooms of life — a diagnosis, a decision, an unanswered prayer — where time feels slower than it should and patience feels harder than it ought to.
Psalm 37:7 speaks directly into those moments: "Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him."
What strikes me most about this verse is the word rest. Not grit your teeth and endure. Not white-knuckle your way through. Rest. It's such a different invitation — one that speaks of a kind of trust that goes deeper than simply hanging on until things change.
I wanted to design something that captured that quality of resting trust, and stacked pebbles felt like exactly the right image. There's something so grounding about the way they balance — each one settled, each one supported, none of them straining. Just steady. Just still.
