Flourishing In Faith, A Reflection On Wildflowers And Worship

By Kate Shephard  •   2 minute read

Christian floral art set for peaceful home decor.

Whenever I walk through the countryside here in Dorset, I’m always struck by how wildflowers seem to flourish in the most unexpected places - such as the grass verges along the roadside! They grow freely, brightly and beautifully, and they remind me so much of how God tends to our hearts. That gentle image has shaped this print set featuring Psalm 92:13, the GRACE acronym and Psalm 96:13 — three messages that speak of flourishing, gratitude and joyful worship.

Psalm 92:13 – Wildflower scripture print with poppies and cornflowers.

Psalm 92:13 has long been a favourite of mine. “Planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God.” It’s such a reassuring promise that when we root our lives in Him, He brings growth in ways only He can. It felt fitting to pair this verse with soft watercolour poppies and cornflowers, flowers that seem to thrive in both quiet corners and sunny fields.

The GRACE acronym holds a special place in the hearts of many, and for good reason. “God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense” captures the heart of the gospel in a single word. I wanted the design to feel gentle and heartfelt, a visual reminder of the love freely given to us.

And then there’s Psalm 96:13 — “Let all creation rejoice before the Lord.” Whenever I read it, I imagine the countryside bursting into song, the way creation quietly worships through colour, movement and life. It felt natural to weave that joy into this floral design.

My hope is that these prints bring freshness, hope and gratitude into your home. May they remind you that you are planted, you are held, and you are invited to join creation in joyful praise.
